New Project coming soon…
The Steps…
A documentary project exploring the lives of friends and the challenges they face on the street in Chelmsford, Essex. Walking a mile in their shoes…
Flairtending…
Chris engages in a little mixology and showmanship to the delight of guests while mixing a drink @ the Saracens Hotel, Chelmsford. This was one of little touches which puts a smile on your face and another reason why Saracen’s Hotel’s bar is one of my favourite spots to hang out in Chelmsford.
Making the shot…
580exii hand held with ttl cord zoomed to 50mm
The very first shot froze all the motion which made the picture very static and lacked any flair or expression. Slowing the shutter speed down to 1/8th of a second allowed motion blur to take effect whilst the flash helps to freeze the action. I used the “nifty fifty” 50mm 1.8 or normal lens. This is my favourite lens by far and I always use it when I’m looking for sharpness or when working in low light as in this case an aperture of f2.
If u like this and find it was useful please let me know and I can break down my shoots going forward. Just comment in the “ask me anything” box. If u have specific photography related questions just holla. I will answer every question as best I can. I’m here to help.
Dont’ forget u can also follow us on twitter instagram facebook
Thanks for your continued support guys. I have had so many people coming up to and offering words of encouragement. I really appreciate this and am even more motivated to make Inspired pictures and Visual stories…

Scorpio of Grand Master Flash and the Furious 5…
The Loop, Chelmsford, Essex
A selection of my favourite pics from an intimate moment before the show as a Hip Hop legend gets “in the zone”. I am incredibly proud of these images and grateful to Scorpio for being so cool and allowing a (very nervous) young photographer share this time. He has restored my pride in hip hop. A true brother…
